Highway 199 conditions - 8/21
Josephine County - Oregon - Construction is occurring at the intersection of I 5 and continues to mile post 3 in both directions of travel. Use caution. Watch for roadside construction as the contractor continues drainage, embankment and widening work along Scoville Road near Morgan Lane. Temporary traffic signals are in operation at 6th and Morgan until the permanent ones are installed. Expect single-lane traffic controlled by flaggers near the intersections of 6th and B and 7th and School Streets. The 6th and B Street work will take place at night from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Watch for lane closures. This project improves pedestrian safety and upgrades the intersections to meet Americans with Disabilities Act requirements. The 6th and Morgan intersection will be improved with new signals and crosswalks and added safety features for 6th Street traffic near the I-5 Exit 58 off ramps and Scoville Road.
