Highway 3 Road Conditions in Siskiyou and Northern Trinity Counties -

In major winter storms, Highway 3 will be closed between Callahan in southern Siskiyou County, and Trinity Center in Trinity County.

If you do not know about this highway, you should. Especially in the winter as it can be an alternate route to get you around big storms and closures at Mt. Shasta on I 5 and California State Highway 89.
